Welcome to the World of SIATech Social Studies. Were HISTORY comes ALIVE. I am excited to be apart of your journey to complete your HIGH SCHOOL EDUCATION. This class consists of American History 1&2, World History 1&2, American Government and Economics. Students will earn 3 credits upon completion of all modules. Students are only required to complete Modules that did not transfer in from your previous school. Students will be able to incorporate technology to create unique, creative and one of a kind presentations and projects. All students will get a chance to ENGAGE in classroom activites.
This is just an introduction to the website, upon completion of the site, I would like to include this in my classroom at school. The information will center around the grade levels that I am currently teaching (High School grades 9-12). Students are able to work at their own pace, with completion normally between 4-5 months (I work at a non-traditional school). In addition, the site will contain information for parents, students and the community. Included also will be links to classroom curriculum, projects and resources. So enjoy!!!!!!!
